Cross-country skiing
Cross-country skiing through the picturesque Arlberg landscape
Cross-country skiing is a fantastic sport, especially in the Arlberg. Training at altitudes above 900 metres makes the body more resilient and is good for your health.
The slopes are more than 17 kilometres long. They lead through the most beautiful places and lakes such as Körbersee and Kalbelesee.
The Körbersee was awarded Austria's most beautiful place in Austria and is especially beautiful on sunny winter days.
The trails are suitable for both beginners and professionals.
Some of the trails are at an altitude of 1600-1700 metres and are a good starting point for your training.
For lovers of easy trails, there is cross-country skiing on the Simmel Round, 4.5 kilometres long. The trail runs in the scenic Hochtannberg Pass over the gentle ridge of the Simmel.
Entrances are at the Hotel Adler, Hotel Jägeralpe and the Salober valley station.
