Lech valley
the Lechtal is a beautiful valley, defined by the turquoise-green, crystal-clear Lech, which meanders elegantly, wildly and freely through the entire valley.

In the Lechtal there are 190 kilometers of cross-country ski trails with various levels of difficulty for classic style and skating.
There is a special 15 meter high ice climbing tower in the villages of Höfen and Bach. Alpinists and amateur climbers alike can train here. There are ten toboggan runs in the protected region of the Lech Valley. There are also several lighted ice rinks for ice skating and ice hockey.

The Lechtal is also ideal for Horse-drawn sleigh rides along the river are particularly attractive - a very romantic way to enjoy the winter landscape with the gentle clatter of horses wrapped in a blanket.

The Lechtal offers a wide range of hiking trails.
There are around 50 alpine huts in the valley that welcome hikers.
The most popular route is the 125-kilometer Lechweg , which leads directly past the Lux Alp Chalet through the entire valley.
The summer toboggan run Wally Blitz in Elbigenalp at the Knittel ski lift, with 25 curves and 900 meters of absolute bliss, is open in summer!
The 200-meter-long suspension bridge in Holzgau is also open to hikers and absolutely safe. From here you can see beautiful mountain panoramas.
